Suma Mwaitenda from Tanzania
Suma Mwaitenda is currently an Asst. Lecturer, Ardhi University, Tanzania and Director of Fursa ( a youth engagement campaign training on opportunities available for employment and entrepreneurship in Tanzania), a freelance quantity surveyor and an Arbitrator with the National Construction Council (NCC) and Tanzania Institute of Arbitrators (TIArb). She is a member of different professional societies with training in economics and engineering management. She is passionate about young people and women and this has seen her participate in research, paper publications and champion multiple campaigns notably 'One region one girl' and 'women in wheel' campaigns. In 2013, she was awarded as the best Business Showcase project - WIEF 2013 - Durban, South Africa among other achievements.
Kwizera Arnold from Rwanda
Kwizera Arnold is a hardworking, ambitious, proactive individual bent on pushing the limits in the communications profession. He is a Managing partner at Abarn communications and works at CNBC Africa, East African bureau. He graduated with second class upper degree from the University of Kwazulu Natal, Durban in Quantitative Economics. He has a vast experience in the communications profession and has previously worked at Radio 10/TV10, Rwanda Focus newspaper, Rwanda Television (RTV), Kigali Today news agency (KT Press), African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) and Royal fm.
Mumbi J. Waweru from Kenya
Mumbi J. Waweru is an investment banker with experience in management, finance and investment analysis. She holds nearly 9 years of experience in the finance industry in fund accounting and investment banking particularly in mergers and acquisitions and capital raising. She is currently the co-founder and executive director of Frederick Fyle & Company Limited. She co-founded Anchorage Limited and has previously worked for Public Procurement Oversight Authority and State Street Global Corporation, USA. She holds an MBA in Forensic Accounting from Rider University, NJ, USA, BSC in accounting and is a certified fraud examiner.
Humphrey Nabimanya from Uganda
Humphrey Nabimanya is the Founder and Team Leader of Reach A Hand Uganda (RAHU). He is a globally recognised leader in the adolescents and youth Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) space. By founding RAHU, a youth-led organization focused on youth empowerment programs with an emphasis on livelihood and skills development, Behavior Change Communication (BCC), SRHR and, HIV/AIDS awareness. Through these interventions, his mission is to support his peers to take control of their lives and present themselves in ways that inspire, impress and spur confidence in themselves under a platform where they have full opportunities to take part in the process of breaking barriers hindering them from making informed choices in life regarding their SRHR. Because of this , he has spoken at global health festivals like the 2018 Aspen Ideas Festival, he was also mentioned as a lead example by Reina Buijs, the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs to the Netherlands, at the closing plenary of the 2018 World AIDS Conference and was recently listed among the 100 Most Influential Young Africans by the Africa Youth Awards.
